Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the October 31, 2011 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Renewed the legal services agreement with the Law Firm of Jeffers, Danielson, Sonn and Aylward, P.S. This renewal extends the agreement until December 31, 2012. (11-177)
Approved use of Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association (VEBA) Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) for employees retiring in 2012. This allows the deposit of a percentage of the employee’s accrued personal leave at retirement into the HRA-VEBA. (11-178)
Authorized a professional service agreement with Biomark,Inc., a sole source, for the operation and maintenance of the PIT-tag Detection System for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. This contract is not to exceed $148,000 and will terminate December 31, 2013. (11-179)
Approved Request for Qualifications 11-24-W, Wells Hydroelectric Project aerial mapping project. (11-180)
Authorized Douglas PUD’s participation in the Public Generating Pool budget for 2012. Douglas PUD’s share of the 2012 budget is $35,000. (11-181)
