Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the February 13, 2006 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office building:
Awarded Draka Comteq of Claremount, NC, contract 06-08-D, 144 count fiber optic cable. Draka Comteq, with a bid price of $76,128, was the lowest responsive bidder. (06-51)
Approved a land use permit Wind-04 for South A Ways LLC (Gary Gormley). This permit will allow dry land crop cultivation on District land. (06-52)
Authorized settlement with Factory Mutual Insurance Company in regard to Wells Hydroelectric Project Unit No. 1 Generator Fault. (06-53)
Reminded those present the February 20, 2006 Commission Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 21, 2006 due to the Presidents’ Day Holiday. It will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
