Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the March 13, 2006 Commission meeting held at the Wells Hydroelectric Project:
Awarded Central Machinery Sales, Inc. of Moses Lake, contract 06-06-D, to furnish a 4X4 loader backhoe and 20 ton tilt trailer. Central Machinery Sales, Inc., with a bid price of $71,905, was the only responsive bidder. (06-67)
Awarded WESCO of Portland, contract 06-09-D, EPR underground primary cable. WESCO, with a bid price of $165,652, was the lowest responsive bidder. (06-68)
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 06-12-D, supply two 2006 6X6 Digger Derrick line trucks. Douglas PUD has need for two Digger Derrick trucks for maintenance of its distribution electrical system. (06-69)
Approved acceptance and final payment to Tunnel Hill Granite under contract 04-88-W, 2004-2005 excavating services. All work has been completed and determined to meet the contract specifications. (06-70)
Awarded Carter Excavation of Brewster, contract 06-10-W, 2006-2007 heavy equipment services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Carter Excavation, with a bid price of $345,436, was the lowest responsive bidder. (06-71)
