Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger and Mike Doneen executed the following actions during the March 3, 2003 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Approved the acceptance of all work performed by Keyhole Security Center working under contract to provide Douglas PUD with a security camera system for the East Wenatchee Headquarters Facility. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (03-31)
Authorized a call for bids to provide Douglas PUD with a distribution dock crew. Necessary to assist District crews with overhead and underground projects, the bid requires distribution, transmission and substation crews. The agreement contains a provision for a one-year extension. (03-32)
Approved a call for bids to provide Douglas PUD with miscellaneous conduit, vaults, electrical and concrete work. This call for bids is necessary for projected distribution underground projects. The bid document contains a renewal option for an additional year. (03-33)
Awarded Morris Material Handling, of Waukesha, WI, a contract to provide Douglas PUD with Gantry crane refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Morris Material Handling, with a bid price of $1,190,867, was the lowest responsive bidder. (03-34)
