Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the April 28, 2008 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bid submitted for bid 08-06-D, snow-cat with trailer. The only bid was received from Tucker Snow-Cat Corporation of Medford, OR. The bid will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Opened bids submitted for bid document 08-15-D, pole testing and treating. The apparent low bid was received from Pole Maintenance Company, LLC of Columbus, NE. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Awarded Asplundh Tree Expert Co. of Kenmore, WA contract 08-14-D, distribution tree trimming. Asplundh Tree Expert Co. with a bid of $399,576 was the only responsive bidder. (08-100)
Authorized video transport agreements with television networks. These agreements are required by most networks to receive and transport the signal over the Douglas County Community Network. (08-101)
Approved amendment no. 1 to a letter agreement with Bonneville Power Administration extending transmission service. This will extend the term of the letter agreement until August 1,2008. The letter agreement is in place until a long-term replacement agreement is in place. (08-102)
Relocated the May 12, 2008 Commission Meeting from Bridgeport to East Wenatchee at 2:00 p.m.
Rescheduled the May 26, 2008 Commission Meeting to Tuesday, May 27, 2008 due to the Memorial Day Holiday. It will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. May 5, 2008 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
