Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the May 1, 2006 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 06-24-D, Dutch Henry initial phase construction. This substation will enhance the reliability of power for customers from Withrow to the top of Badger Mountain. (06-109)
Approved task order No. 3 - Generating unit life extension for the master consulting services agreement with MWH Americas, Inc. with regard to the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The services in Task Order No. 3 include strategic assessment and preparation of plans and specifications to repair and rehabilitate the generators on Units 2-10 and to renew and refurbish turbine components on all ten generating units at a not to exceed limit of $396,000. Authorized an agreement for the sale of wind and environmental data to Ridgeline Energy, LLC. (06-111)
