Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the May 22, 2006 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Authorized acceptance of all work performed by McCandlish Electric under the second year of contract 04-05-D, traffic control flagging. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (06-121)
Authorized acceptance of all work performed by Hinkels and McCoy, Inc. under the first year of contract 05-10-D, distribution dock crew. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. Douglas PUD will opt to extend the contract an additional year. (06-122)
Awarded Moe Asphalt Patching and Sealcoating, Inc. of East Wenatchee, contract 06-21-D, asphalt and concrete repair and installation. Moe Asphalt, with a bid price of $105,000, was the only responsive bidder. (06-123)
Authorized acceptance and final payment to RFI Communications Security under contract 03-14-W, security system. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (06-124)
Authorized a memorandum of understanding for the sale of wind and environmental data to Pacific Renewable Energy, LLC. (06-125)
Authorized a settlement agreement with Janice Yacinich regarding Wells Tract 1019.0C. (06-126)
Declared the District’s 1991 GMC Sierra 4x4 ¾ ton truck with snow plow, surplus to the District’s needs and authorized sale to The Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scouts of America has agreed to pay $1,250 for the vehicle. (06-127)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 06-27-W, Wells Dam entrance sign. The current sign is worn and in a state of disrepair. (06-128)
Reminded those present, the May 29th Commission Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 30th due to the Memorial Day Holiday. It will be held at 2 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
