Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the June 8, 2009 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office:
Presented Chief Powerplant Operator Brian Hicks with his twenty-year service award. Commissioner Davis thanked Brian on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for his many years of service. Brian thanked the Commission and said it had been a pleasure to work here the last 20 years.
Approved execution of interlocal cooperative agreement for Canyon B Bridge CRP 924 with Douglas County. This agreement will include conduit terminating into vaults at each end of the bridge the County is building. (09-128)
Authorized partial release of easement near 10th St. NE and N. Nile Ave in East Wenatchee. The easement is not being utilized by the District. (09-130)
Awarded contract 09-17-W, thrust bearing load cell system for Wells Hydroelectric Project to the low bidder Kingsbury, Inc. of Hatboro, PA. The contract amount is $681,331. (09-131)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. June 22, 2009 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
