Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the July 7, 2008 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bid submitted for bid 08-32-D, traffic control flagging. The only bid was received from TJE LLC of Wenatchee. The bid will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Opened bids submitted for bid 08-33-D, exterior improvements to Bridgeport Office Building. The apparent low bid was received from Hale and Long General Contractors of East Wenatchee. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Opened bids submitted for bid 08-34-D, Rapids Switchyard bus equipment and steel support structures. The apparent low bid was received from Custom Manufacturing and Design of Ridgefield, WA. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
There were no responsive bids received for bid 08-30-W, installation of powerhouse 480-V circuit breakers for Wells Fish Hatchery and emergency diesel generator feed.
Authorized change order No.1 to contract 08-04-D, crew facility office furnishings. The change will extend the completion date to July 30, 2008 at no cost to the District. (08-176)
Approved S&C Electric Company as the sole source for 115 kV circuit switchers for Foster Creek Substation. S&C Electric is the only manufacturer of 115 kV circuit switchers with hermetically sealed interrupters needed at this substation. (08-177)
Authorized the execution of a pole attachment joint use agreement with Verizon Northwest, Inc. (08-178)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 14, 2008 at the District’s Bridgeport office.
