High pressure sodium vapor lighting, complete with photoelectric controls, will be installed for individual customers under the following conditions:
The District will furnish, install, maintain, relamp and supply power to high pressure sodium vapor lights upon execution of a standard five year agreement for lighting service.
The District will require a Contribution-in-Aid-of- Construction (CIAC) of $150 for lights attached to existing power poles. If a Secondary pole is required, the CIAC shall additionally include 50% of the installed cost of the pole.
When a customer requests underground service to a yard light, the customer shall provide and install conduit and shall provide necessary trenching, bedding, and backfilling for such installation, all in accordance with plans and specifications furnished by the District.
The District will make installations and perform service and maintenance work as promptly as possible; but in order to keep costs at a reasonable level, reserves the right to defer work on distant installations until a serviceman or line crew has other business in the area.
